Herdwick sheep are a breed of domestic sheep originating in the United Kingdom. They are native to the Lake District of Cumbria in North West England. The name of the breed is derived from the Old Norse herdvyck, which means sheep pasture. Herdwick have traditionally been bred in the fells and pastures of the Lake District in Cumbria but they are now seen in other parts of the United Kingdom. Porthgain Harbour, Pembrokeshire.

Porthgain (Welsh for fair/beautiful port) is a village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales, located between St David’s and Goodwick, and just north of Llanrhian. The village of Porthgain has a wealth of historical relics from its time as a prosperous industrial harbour in the early 1900s. At one time, the harbour exported slate from quarries a few miles south at Abereiddi, Trwynllwyd and Porthgain itself. The harbour, still home to local fishermen and is very busy in the summer.
