Dylan Thomas put pen to paper in the summer house within the castle grounds. it did not fare too well during the Civil War and was partly dismantled, Now managed by CADW. Teal on the Estuary at Laugharne.
The Teal (Anas crecca) is the smallest duck in Britain and is also one of the most widespread. flocks of Teals are common in winter around estuaries, mudflats and inland wetlands.
