Pendine Beach, Carmarthenshire.

Pendine (Welsh: Pentywyn, “end of the dunes”) is a village and community in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Situated on the northern shore of Carmarthen Bay. The beach is approximately six miles long. The sun is setting in late afternoon in November. The tide is receding opening up the vast expanse of beach. The recently opened Caban and Land Speed buildings are to the left of the picture.

Pendine Beach, Carmarthenshire.

Pendine (Welsh: Pentywyn, “end of the dunes”) is a village and community in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Situated on the northern shore of Carmarthen Bay. The beach is approximately six miles long. This image of the seafront was taken in the the late afternoon in November. The sun is setting giving a golden glow to the buildings and the large pebbles on the beach, The recently opened Caban and Land Speed buildings are to the right of the picture.

Monsal Dale, Peak District.

Monsal Dale is a valley in Derbyshire, England, in the White Peak limestone area of the Peak District National Park. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and part of a Europe-wide network called Natura 2000. Monsal Dale is that part of the Wye valley between Water cum Jolly dale and the foot of Taddington dale, where it meets the A6 road.

Monsal Dale is a valley in Derbyshire, England, in the White Peak limestone area of the Peak District National Park. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and part of a Europe-wide network called Natura 2000. The Headstone Viaduct was built by the Midland Railway over the River Wye. The bridge, which stands near the 533-yard (487 m) Headstone Tunnel, is 300 feet (91 m) long. Now forming part of the Monsal Trail.
